Questions about scheduling
Do I have to set hours for every barber?
No. A barber without their own schedule works the shop's opening hours, which is the right answer for most of a small team. Set individual hours only for the people whose week genuinely differs.
What if a barber's hours are wider than the shop's?
They are trimmed to the shop's. Personal hours can narrow the shop's window, never widen it, so nobody is ever bookable while the door is locked.
Can a barber work a day the shop is closed?
No. A closed day is not a window to be adjusted — it is no window, even if that barber's own week is switched on for it.
How many breaks can a barber have?
One a day, with a start and an end. It is removed from the times clients are offered and from every wait estimate behind it.
How do I stop someone taking bookings for two weeks?
Pause them. They stop appearing on the booking page and keep their clients, visit history and figures. Appointments already in the diary are not affected.
